Neon Strike is a modern browser-based arena shooter built around fast movement, escalating enemy waves, and score-chasing combat. Players pilot customizable ships through procedurally seeded battlefields, survive increasingly difficult waves, chain kills into combo multipliers, collect temporary buffs, and defeat boss enemies that appear throughout the run. The game supports solo play, offline play with local leaderboards, and Firebase-powered multiplayer race rooms where pilots compete by reaching the highest score in the same seeded challenge. The gameplay engine is separated from the Vue interface and runs as a deterministic fixed 60 Hz simulation. Canvas handles the high-frequency arena rendering while Vue manages the HUD, menus, overlays, settings, profiles, rooms, standings, and social features. The game includes responsive mouse, keyboard, and touch controls, a minimap, screen shake, synthesized Web Audio effects, pause handling, mobile support, light and dark themes, and performance-conscious rendering with particle limits and canvas scaling.
