Directory Guidelines
Responsible app submission standards for the App Builders PH directory.
App Builders PH is a community directory for real apps built by Filipino makers. Submissions should be useful, honest, and safe for the community to discover.
Submit apps you can represent
- Only list apps you built, own, maintain, or are authorized to represent.
- Use accurate names, descriptions, links, screenshots, pricing, and categories.
- Do not impersonate another maker, company, product, or community project.
Keep listings legal and ethical
- Do not submit apps that promote illegal activity, fraud, scams, harassment, or abuse.
- Do not submit piracy tools, cracked software, unauthorized streaming, or content theft products.
- Do not submit apps that enable malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, or platform manipulation.
- Do not submit apps built around exploiting users, dark patterns, deceptive monetization, or hidden charges.
Respect rights and privacy
- Use logos, screenshots, trademarks, and copyrighted material only when you have the right to use them.
- Do not publish private user data, scraped personal data, or confidential information.
- Be clear when an app uses AI, automation, user-generated content, or third-party data in ways users should know about.
Make it reviewable
- Submit a working website, store page, demo, or product link that helps people understand the app.
- Avoid placeholder listings, broken links, duplicate submissions, or keyword-stuffed descriptions.
- If your app is in early access, be upfront about what works today and what is still planned.
What may happen
Listings that break these guidelines may be edited, unpublished, or removed. Accounts that repeatedly submit harmful, misleading, or spammy listings may lose access.
