VetAI
AI-powered pet symptom checker with a vet clinic finder built in.
About VetAI
Under the hood, it uses a RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipeline with a veterinary knowledge base to ground its analysis in relevant information, rather than relying on generic AI guesses. If your pet needs in-person care, VetAI also surfaces nearby veterinary clinics using OpenStreetMap data.
Note: clinic location data currently relies on OpenStreetMap, a free public dataset, so coverage and accuracy can vary by area. I'm evaluating a switch to the Google Places API for more reliable, production-grade results.
Built for pet owners who want a fast, informed first read on their pet's health before deciding on next steps. Fully responsive, with the option to print your results for a vet visit.
Want me to trim this down if it's running long for the description box, or make the limitation note sound more casual (like your comment above) instead of a formal caveat?
