Mechanical keyboard sounds for Mac
Keeby is a macOS menu bar app that gives your keyboard the satisfying sound
of premium mechanical switches. Type on any keyboard and hear authentic,
spatially-panned key sounds recorded from real switches (Akko, Lofree,
IQUNIX, Aflion, and more), positioned in stereo to match where each key
sits on your board. Includes a notch visualizer, per-key customization,
and an optional binaural "spatial" mode that turns typing into an
enveloping 3D headphone experience.

Hello po! Founder of Keeby here.
I love how mechanical keyboards sound but didn't want to buy a new board every time I wanted a different feel or always bring a heavy keeb sa mga coffee shops. So I recorded a bunch of real switches (Akko, Lofree, IQUNIX, and more) and made a little Mac menu bar app that makes any keyboard, even the built-in MacBook one, sound like the real thing.
There's a spatial audio mode too that positions each key in 3D. Honestly the part I'm most happy with.
Still a work in progress and I'd love your honest feedback. What switch should I record next?
My favorite app.
