Hele: Carousel Music Box

Bedtime screens are usually loud, bright and built to keep kids watching. Hele Carousel is the opposite: a small wooden carousel music box on the screen, made for children 5 and under.

Your child turns the brass key and lets go. It plays a lullaby on a modeled 18-note music-box comb, and the riders go round, slowing as the spring runs out. A tiny lever stops it. That is the whole toy.

What's in it:

• Nine sculpted wooden riders and six tunes come with the app, including Ili-Ili Tulog Anay

• The Workshop Book: a read-aloud page for every animal, with a short story, true facts and a question for your child

• Sleep mode that slows the tune and fades the screen to dark, plus a bedside clock

• Parents' area behind a two-second hold

• Optional one-time packs, including Philippines riders and Filipino Folk Songs
