Routines
An iPhone routine planner that turns descriptions or Siri requests into scheduled routines, editable steps, reminders, and widgets with private, on-device intelligence.
What you will test
Routines is a private iOS planner for the recurring sequences that keep everyday life moving—daily checklists, weekday schedules, or routines with alternating steps. On compatible iPhones, you can type or speak naturally and on-device Apple Intelligence builds an editable draft. You can also use Siri: on iOS 27, a simple daily or weekly request can create a routine without opening the app; on iOS 26, the “Add a routine with Routines” App Shortcut asks for a description and uses the on-device generator. You can adjust the steps, timers, days, times, and rotations before saving, then follow the routine through Today, reminders, history, and Home Screen widgets. I’m looking for rough edges before the App Store launch.
Testing goals
1. Join the TestFlight from useroutines.com.
2. Create a routine from a natural-language description, or use the manual editor if Apple Intelligence is unavailable.
3. Review and edit the steps, timing, schedule, and any rotating sequences, then save it.
4. Complete or skip a routine from Today and check that progress, history, reminders, and a Home Screen widget stay in sync.
5. Create another routine with Siri. On iOS 27, try: “Siri, in Routines, add a routine to drink vitamin D every day at 10:30 AM.” On iOS 26, say: “Siri, add a routine with Routines,” then answer the description prompt. Confirm the routine is saved and scheduled correctly and can be opened for editing.
6. Edit a routine afterward and confirm the updated schedule still makes sense.
Please tell me where the wording or controls felt confusing, whether the generated routine matched what you meant, how Siri interpreted the request, and include your iPhone model and iOS version plus screenshots for any issue.
Tester requirements
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iOS 26 or later is preferred for the Apple Intelligence and Siri/App Intents flows; an iOS 27 beta device is especially helpful for testing one-shot Siri routine creation. Other supported devices can test the manual editor.
