Reminda - Smart Timetable & Duty Alarm
Reminda is a smart timetable and schedule alarm app tailored for students, healthcare workers, BPO/corporate shift employees, and government staff, featuring AI-powered document scanning and resilient reminders.
What you will test
Who it is for:
• Students (Universities, Colleges, and Senior High)
• Healthcare workers (Nurses, Doctors, MedTechs with shifting hospital duties)
• Corporate & Shift staff (BPO agents, retail/mall staff, food service)
• Government and LGU personnel
What works today:
• AI Document Scanner: Upload or snap a photo of your Certificate of Registration (COR), study load, or duty roster to automatically extract schedules into structured timetable entries.
• Multi-Sector Directory: Over 500+ preloaded Philippine institutions, universities, hospitals, and companies.
• High-Priority Alarms & Reminders: Multi-tier notification engine with custom acoustic alarm tones (Campus Bell, Crystal Chime, Pulse Radar, Zen Marimba) and continuous looping until dismissed.
• Cloud Sync & Offline Database: Realtime sync across devices with offline SQLite/Hive caching.
Current State:
We just released version 1.0.0+12, which resolved Android background alarm sleeping issues and improved status bar notifications across various Android OS flavors (MIUI/HyperOS, One UI, ColorOS, Funtouch OS). We are seeking real-world validation on different device brands.
Testing goals
2. Schedule Creation:
- Try the AI Schedule Scanner by uploading or photographing a timetable/duty roster.
- Try adding a manual schedule entry.
3. Alarm & Notification Reliability:
- Set a schedule or reminder a few minutes ahead.
- Verify if the alarm rings, loops, and displays in your status bar when your phone screen is off or asleep.
- Try the "Test Alarm & Notification" tool inside Settings.
4. Device Feedback: Let us know your phone brand/model and Android version, and report if any alarms or UI layouts feel sluggish or failed to fire.
Tester requirements
Target Testers:
• Students (College or High School) with class schedules or study loads
• Shift workers (Healthcare/Nurses, BPO agents, retail, hospitality, or corporate staff) with shifting duties
• Anyone with recurring weekly tasks who relies on alarms and reminders
Device & Technical Requirements:
• Android smartphone running Android 8.0 or higher (Android 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15)
• We specifically welcome testers using Xiaomi / Poco / Redmi, Samsung, Oppo / Realme, Vivo, Transsion (Infinix/Tecno), and Google Pixel to test background alarm performance across various custom Android skins
• Willing to install the app via Firebase App Distribution or APKPure/direct APK link
• Must enable "Notification" and "Alarms & Reminders" permissions when prompted
What is expected from testers:
• Set up at least 1 or 2 schedules (using either the AI OCR scanner or manual input)
• Verify if the alarm rings, loops, and shows in the status bar on time
• Provide brief feedback on usability, scanning accuracy, and device compatibility within 2 to 3 days
